We are still here, still alive, still kicking as some would say, but what are we doing with our lives?
Not only can short term thinking damage your body, and your relationships, but it will prevent the implementation of God's will, His plan in your life.
Sometimes it is difficult to know exactly what to do in some situations. You want to do what God wants you to do but what is it that He wants?
To have real life, the life you perhaps never dreamed of, but a better life than the life of your dreams - initiate God's three step plan.
There are spiritual turns in life that you cannot afford to miss, because if you do the "face of the Lord" will be against you.
Life can have its ups and downs like a rollercoaster; however, at other times it may feel like you have been left hanging out to dry.
To avoid the unpleasant consequences of bad decisions there is something that we should always do before making a decision.
We are free to choose the direction we want to travel in this life. God has given us the spiritual freedom of choice.
If you are on a boat and it is sinking, what do you do? Do you continue to fish or do you take action? If you do decide to stop fishing and take action, what kind of action do you take?
We have a lack of wisdom and knowledge about the future and this often results in failure of our plans. However, God does not have that problem and if we will allow Him to do so, He can bring about His plan in our lives.
So very often, doing the right thing and the best thing, is the hardest thing to do. However, being under the hand of God is always the best place to be.
Some days are so difficult that it would be wonderful if God could literally take our hands and lead us through it step by step.
Sometimes we do not have time to pray about things, or seek advice, or study the Bible to find direction. Sometimes we just have to do something!
How do you know when it is time for a change in the way you have been doing things or in your life situation?
How many have started out with the right destination in mind, but ended up far from where they originally planned to go? Allow God to provide the guidance you need in life.
What path are you on today? Is the path you are on the best path, the path the Lord has planned for your life?
Sometimes even our best plans and preparations may be overruled by God. We must be alert to what He wants to accomplish.
